I'm always shocked when people say Cruz is one dimensional. He's absolutely not one dimensional. When we get comments like this, it's a tell on the posters boxing acumen, that they have no idea what they are seeing. You don't go 12 rounds with Tank, pushing the pace, making the fight, and have Tank on the back foot the whole fight, going all twelve. Cruz has real power, and his KO's are set up. His ring IQ is very underrated, excellent defense, feints and offense. He's improving too.

You have to move heaven an earth to make fights happen in this sport. Even if it's ordered by god.

Crazy how some can actually believe that one of the most skilled boxers in the world would avoid a guy who was outboxed by a 1 handed tank. In a similar pattern to Santa Cruz ducking Rigo, the dads and Haymon will be the ones doing the ducking.

Why is Bob throwing cold water on that fight? Is Bob worried Shakur will struggle or break his hand hitting the top of Cruz's head?

I told you guys the other day it doesn't matter what the WBC orders. The promoters and networks will make the final decisions.

If they ever fought, and it's not really that in demand, Shakur would do much better than Tank did.

Cruz makes like 200k a fight. That's not a ton for them to pay for a ESPN fight. They'd do it in a heartbeat if he doesn't price himself way out. He got like 300k guarantee vs Davis and a piece of the ppv action which I have no clue what that made him.

Shakur is way too sharp and clever for a guy like cruz. Cruz has mentioned that he doesn't fancy a haney fight using the code word "boring", which we know actually means that he can't handle skilled fighters, and shakur is IMO, is very highly skilled and a tough person to beat. He could be a bigger problem for guys than even haney. Cruz won't take that risk since he had a a lot of praise for fighting and giving tank issues, but shakur is way too clean and will take away his strengths, and make him look easy.
