Even without the punching power, Inoue still has elite skills. What good is your power if you can’t even set up your punches properly? He’s improved drastically ever since his first encounter with Donaire. Take away his power and he’d be outboxing his opponents. Fortunately, Inoue’s been blessed with power that’s rarely seen in the lower weight classes.

Well 1st off yes. He is an extremely good Boxer and 2nd, he's got the power so why pretend he hasn't?

If Usain Bolt had stumps for legs would he be just as fast?

If you take away his power…
You’d just be left with a technically great boxer, with perfect balance, pin-point accurate punching, subtle, effective defence, a solid chin and the heart of a champion. Oh, and killer instincts.

Inoue has "skill" and power, we could take away your "skills" and would they still consider you good? and we all know the answer to that, don't we?.

Naoya's precisely controlled power and pinpoint accuracy is a thing of beauty... that first hook feint KD in Donaire II was a slice of perfection

Lol now people in here are really gonna act like Inoue is more skilled than Fulton who is one of the most skilled active boxers around. P4P lists make people overlook what's very obvious about a lot of ****.

His accuracy and timing is just as important and impressive as his power

Even if it wasn’t, it’s a ****** statement anyway. He does have it, so you can’t get around the fact, even by trying to downplay his skills.

Its even a ****** statement when it comes to Wilder. It might hold some truth but it doesn’t matter because 36 minutes is a long time to go without getting cracked by a shot from a fighter that has a knack for being able to find a home for it.

If Figueroa had gotten the decision would people still consider Fulton as good?

Nobody on this thread has actually said Inoue is more skilled than Fulton, man. Read a little more closely.

I personally think both have superb boxing skills and wouldn't want to compare - besides you can't seperate out power from the ability to deliver it.
