Joe Calzaghe vs. Bivol at 175

Do you think Slappy Joe beats Bivol?? Or Bivol outboxes him.

Good fight. Would be a close decision either way but I’ll say Bivol by MD.

Not so sure, he done a hell of a job on Kessler and Kessler was tight, Id go with Cal right now for the work rate and aggression to pull it off.

Joe only fought at 75 at the end of his career to make the Hopkins and Jones fights because they were cherrires ready to be picked.

Terrible thread from the alt of LarryX....

This is a tough one. Calslappy actually threw less than Zurdo did against Hopkins and I could see his ineffective flurries being reduced against a mover like Bivol. But Slappy was underrated IMO.

But this is a fantasy fight, best vs best , Cal by the time he fought Bhop Jones they were all near that exhibition status it wasn't the weight as much as they were past it. at his best Cal was throwing 1000 punches in 12 rounds. 175 version was done.

                  Kessler has slow stiff feet.

He did but he was tight quick straight punches and was good quality fighter, a lot better than Zurdo if I had to try and make a relative comparison.

But I kinda glossed over the emphasis on 175, Cal was done at that weight and Zurdo probably beats him lol.
