Am I alone in saying that if these two would have fought in 89' Tyson would probably have knocked his head off? This is really a meaningless post, but I think that version of Tyson would have put Lewis to sleep.

No, lewis would have easily UD'd him, any skilled fighter with a good jab, movement and power who is not afraid of tyson ud's him.
