That's really terrible if true. Mares looked horrible in his last fight and his eye is really jacked up. Based on what I've seen of Gervonta, a small, lighting punching bantamweight isn't going to pose much of a issue.

No one to sell Davis to and Haymon can't risk him taking a defeat so the can bashing continues. Fanboys - Al is making Benavidez vs Plant so what are you talking about? Plant was sold several months ago and very low risk he can beat Benavidez over 12. In other words how much better are Plant and Benavidez than Mr 40 cans, 4 contenders, 1 real one.
