thankfully when Pascal becomes IBF mando he’ll just take step aside money for retirement.

If Beterbiev beats Yarde and Smith, he will be in better position in Bivol negotiations.

Bivol if far bigger star now. Bivol beat Smith jr., Pascal, Barrera, Ramirez, Richards, that means 5 guys that are or were ranked top 10 by the Ring at some point in division.

Beterbiev has Gvozdyk, Smith jr. Browne.

Smith has 2 fights at LHW, One against someone ranked, and now he's mandatory?

No wonder Hearn said "Beterbiev is going to be too busy to fight Bivol."

The ruling should have been: Beterbiev must face Smith next unless it’s a unification with Bivol. Unifications should always supersede mandatories.

Then there's no unification fight if belts are scattered.

Beterbiev faced his mandatory WBC against Browne.

He needs to get more active. If he fought Yarde in October he could have had Bivol in Q1 2023. He just killed 6 months of his career with that move even though I know he needed surgery.

Cloud and Campillo were both ranked top 10 by Ring in the past. So they actually both have 5. Bivol might actually have 6 cause I’d guess Chilemba was top 10 at some point.

Campillo was ranked top 10 when Artur beat him, he was coming off an upset win over Thomas Williams Jr. Cloud possibly was too, he was coming off a loss to Stevenson but I don’t think Ring would have demoted him out of the top 10 for that.

As for making him a bigger star, maybe in the UK, but in the context of world boxing I don’t think wins over Yarde and Smith do that much for him. I don’t think it makes Beterbiev vs Bivol any more interesting.

Smith's last fight was a final eliminator ordered by the WBC.
