Its not just the belts, Floyd dropped them after accomplishing his goal of winning them. Its about legacy, Spence went through all the champions to prove his point that he's the best in the division, the Big Fish. He also beat names and former champions to gain his position of fighting for the belts. At this point in time, he's just done more, but I like Bivol, and hope that he accomplishes as much as he possibly can because he's humble, shows respect to his opponents and the craft, and he has stayed grounded even with the newfound attention.

and Canelo is the rightful champion at LHW. it's not about the belt. He never lost the belt before Bivol.

        Bivol beat him.

realistically Bivol has just as many belts as Beter

          1. I don’t buy into this out of division stuff when canelo walks around close to 200 and when he was already a champ in the division. 2. Who said I don’t consider beterbiev too 5?

If Beterbiev wasn't focused on fighting for the undisputed championship, he could vacate his WBC and WBO titles and jump straight into a unification bout with Bivol

If Canelo had skipped 175 and fought King's African champ, would you call him P4P if he had knocked Canelo out? No, you wouldn't and we know it. Case closed. Beterbiev is the one who should be in P4P. No fanboy stuff, just facts.

this is a fact of life

Canelo never lost his LHW belt. JSJ picked up a tricket ABC belt with no meaning.

When Bivol beat Canelo, that's when that LHW belt was transferred. Period.

Case closed? Are you under the misconception that you’re some sort of authority on boxing??
Ridiculous comparison because nobody even knew who Makabu was because he never beat anyone credible and not to mention that would’ve been a much bigger weight jump for canelo to fight someone who weighs around 197. Much different from 175, which is a weight that canelo has been champion at and walks around significantly above. Bivol has been a world champion for years and has beaten some credible former champions. He dominated canelo, who was supposed to be Top p4p and then just beat an undefeated fighter in dominant fashion. So yes there is an argument for him being top 5 right now. He was already ranked in nearly every credible top 10 before this last fight. After all, When canelo cracked pound for pound list wasn’t it when he was beating much smaller guys at 154/155? Lastly, I never said Beterbiev wasn’t top 5 either. He has a case as well.
