Comments Thread For: Bivol: I Can Beat Beterbiev - Why Not? I Have Good Skills, Defense, Combinations

Nah, he's not Zurdo type of slow, but he's slow compared to Bivol. He might be slick, but his footwork and movement is not on the same level as Dmitry. What he does well, is time his opponent's movement, with often catastrophic results. Bivol only stood on the inside with Ramirez because he knew that would muffle Zurdo's power punches, as he tends to swing wide, while Bivol could attack with straight, compact combinations landing the clean shots. He also stated that he knew Ramirez was not a heavy, one punch power fighter, so he was willing to try and push him back. Beterbiev, on the hand, is a different type of strong, so the strategy would be different, but having the same result.
Beterbiev is not that slow. His offense is as slick as Bivol's in terms of punches if not footwork. If Bivol tried to stand right in front of him like he did against Zurdo he'll get hurt at some point. In short, there is absolutely no comparison between Beterbiev and Ramirez.Comment

I'm sure, after he almost blanked your boy Zurdo, you probably find it hard not to feel a way. Its ok, you still have trash collector, Mungia to root for against another burger flipper coming up.Comment

Lol
post those power shots landed. almost all were blocked and not flush.
now post the 1 punch KO's Beter has. Joe Smith Jr and Jean Pascal are actually more dangerous as they have quicker 1 punch snapping power. Beter requires you to take punishment before wearing you down

Smith JR was one of the worst champions in all divisions.
And he never K.Od some fighter with good level, only a very old Bernard
Pascal was very old and shot when Bivol faced hum
Arthur single shots are dangerous.
You think Beterbiev power is like Leo santa cruz ?
Yeah, he is not one punch K.O artist
But my point is that he don't requires too much punches
With 20-30 punches he can crack and hurtLast edited by Mexican_Puppet; 11-08-2022, 12:37 PM.Comment

Lol
Gvozdyk was a very very good fighter
He is retired and was sparring partner of Ramírez and Ramírez said Gvozdyk was kicking his ass and that he was a great fighter with a Lot of skills.
Arthur and Gvozdyk were at the moment they Best two fighters in the division.
Gvozdyk was a better fighter than Zurdo
And canelo is an average champion in 175, that division is his worst división and is one of the shorter and smaller champions in the 175 división
