That’s generally true and I’m not disagreeing. Key thing is when have we seen a boxer eat breakfast before a weigh in? Guys literally starve and drain themselves to just break even yet Bivol comes in at 174 after breakfast.
Also, clearly Bivol has skills. He didn’t just beat Canelo because of Canelo’s shortcomings. I hope the fight gets made at 168 because the landscape is about to go through a cataclysmic change with Plant-Benavidez a done deal.
I believe Canelo will retire if he gets beat again.Comment

Easily his name isn't out there like that, Bivol has name recognition not only fighting but beating Canelo, Beterbiev isn't know by the casual audience only by the HARDCORES and the truth is the casuals are what matters at the end of the day.Comment

None of them are household names you think Jeff Horn was a household after beating Pacman LMAOComment

Know why it was the worst version of Canelo? His footwork is ****. Before this the worst version of him was against Floyd. What a coincidence.Bivol thinking too long about 168. He already said he ain't big 175 lber, he can make 168. Then, make and beat Canelo if you can.
He knows he caught worst version of Canelo at the right time, at the right place. Canelo won't be too overweight and will become motivated to retain his belts. He wanna simply greatness. I hope Hearn sets up the fight.Comment

You don`t seem to understand the marketing of boxing. Canelo is the one that brings the audience, therefore he doesn`t need to move up in weight vs Bivol. If Bivol wants a payday, he needs to go down a weight class, just like Canelo moved up, giving Bivol many advantages.People now trying to find ways to beat Bivol, because he's so difficult to beat.
Who can beat him? Beterbiev? Maybe only Tyson Fury. But it would be ****** for Bivol to drop down in weight to super middle, losing muscle and power in the process.
Did he see what happened to Chad Dawson against Ward, although Bivol is better than Dawson.
Bivol holds the cards for a Canelo rematch. If Canelo wants it again, he's got to go up to Bivol's weight. Bivol is the WBA light heavyweight champion, and he never fought at super middleweight.Comment
