Shields was the better fighter and showed that the loss in the amateurs was a fluke (maybe even an outright robbery based on the video of that bout.)

They might have to rematch down the road if both keep winning, though. There's not exactly a lot of options out there.

With so few elite fighters, a return fight may be the only one in that division, but n the USA next time. It was one of the more exciting female fights, no doubt.

I want to see that again just because the pool is so thin... But I don't know if Shields would ever mentally recover from a 10,000 crowd in her home soil... W Boxing market is in the UK ...

It really wasn't all that close. Almost no need for a rematch. I don't think anyone other than Shields beats Marshall however.

Rematch has to happen in America. Which I think Marshall won't be objecting to. Boxxer might not like the idea.

It wasn't close, but it was exciting to see if the power puncher could land clean blows on the more talented and skilled boxer. In the end, it looked more like Bivol and Zurdo, Shields was too fast, with better skills, movement, and punch selections and placement. Marshall was slow, plodding, and hoping to overwhelm her opponent, but just couldn't match the levels.

This fight wasn't close at all, I prob gave Sav three rounds at best. It's hard to see what she could do differently against Shields. Shields is just a level above and the same would happen again in any rematch.

I never had it very close either. I also think SM is trippin when she said she was not hurt at all. She looked hurt several times imo.

The rounds were actually quite close, I just leaned towards shields in some of them. Though marshall should really beat her in any rematch.
