Canelo had a tough time with 40 year old GGG, who won the later rounds of their last fight, despite GGG fighting in a new and heavier division for the first time in his life. Canelo was gifted a draw and a win in the first two contests with GGG that he should have lost. Canelo lost just about every minute to Bivol, who on my scorecard won all but one round against Canelo, who was totally outclassed.

Canelo is slow and throws punches one at a time. Bivol is quicker, more accurate and has much better ring generalship. There is no reason other than $$ to see a rematch of Canelo Vs Bivol, and I’m sure Canelo doesn’t want it. That’s why he was hoping that Bivol would lose to a 200 lb. Mexican. And if Ramirez won, Canelo said he won’t fight Mexicans. Canelo has the $$ and his brains. He should retire and live the good life with a strong legacy intact. Don’t listen to Hearn.

Bivol belongs to 175. Unless ginger brings a huge money to Bivol, he should go away.

Bivol is scared of Canelo nowadays. He is thinking too long about Canelo rematch questions. Especially Canelo at 168. He probably knows that Canelo has talent to fuck up his Beterbiev dreams. He wanna Artur first and then Canelo.

I like to see rematches if the first fight was competitive. This fight was not.

What is it hoes thought it was "easy" so why fear a "robbery" if that was gonna happened it would have happened in the first fight.

Where were you **** mfers at when Loma got his gift against a 21 yr old???
Or maybe people want to see competitive fights, which this one isn’t.

You know, not even convinced of this. Bet he’d still dismantle everyone he beat on his way to SMW unification.

Definitely wouldn’t judge on those last 2 fights against (1) someone who was all wrong for him, and (2) someone he was unable to dominate in previous matchups.

What’s really happened is he’s found his level, and it’s above most, but short of elite

Usyk/Joshua V2 revisited .... Same outcome with even more "schooling" from Bivol... Useless fight but the money will be amazing for Bivol, so why not ? ...

As others said, Make it @ 168 for the all the belts...

Beterbiev is hiding from Warren/Arum, who wanted to make the Yarde fight for him. (Of course, I'm just speculating, but that's what I think is going on.)

But? I still believe Alvarez can raise his game.

He lost the fight due to his under par endurance, and lack of gears.

Skill for skill, Alvarez & Bivol are not levels part. Alvarez actually has a superior inside game, and defense.

Bivol has better endurance, full body speed, movement, and long rang game etc.

If Alvarez had more gears, and Joe Calzaghe type endurance 'He would probably win the rematch'.

Alvarez would be able to fight more aggressively at a higher intensity, for sustained periods of time 'Using his superior Mid range to Inside game'.

I don't really think Bivol would be able to cope with that sort of fight. This is all hypothetical, Alvarez most likely is going to improve those area's I have talk about by 10-15 %, and that still may be enough 'To make the fight more competitive'.

Alvarez deep down knows why he lost to Bivol, so he is for me going to go into overdrive trying his best to improve those area's.

Note: Both Floyd Mayweather Junior & Bivol exploited Alvarez's, lack of gears, lack of elite level endurance, lack of movement and a inability to throw caution to the wind etc.
A whole lot of "IFS" here don't you think? If my grandma has balls,she'd......

Canelo doesnt have a better mid range game than Bivol. If he had Canelo wouldn't have to have resorted to sitting on the ropes waiting for a counter,Bivol owned the center of the ring.

Throughout his whole career,Canelo has always shown a lack of elite level endurance and has been flat footed. Those two are genetics and theres not much more he can do to improve those two shortcomings as I'm sure they've already tried everything possible to improve in those areas. 2 crucial attributes needed to beat someone the caliber of Bivol and its safe to say its as good as its going to get for Canelo.

Canelo has always been one of the most disciplined, studious fighters in the game. Its comical hearing all the "undertraining","underestimating" or "not 100" focused" BS excuses. The guy was 100% prepared but fell short and more than likely will fall short again should they rematch. The skill level between the 2 might not be levels apart but at this level there never really is. Its just Canelo doesn't have the attributes needed, nor will he ever have,to beat someone as skilled as Bivol. In fact,I think Bivol has a better performance the second time around. Canelos up **** creek in this predicament. Damned if he does, damned if he doesnt....
