    F.O.T.Y. “Fighter”

In my opinion I believe that Dmitry Bivol has earned fighter of the year by not only beating, but embarrassing both Canelo and Zurdo. They may have just been by unanimous decision but he schooled both in proper fashion, imho.

I’d go Bivol as of now. Won as an underdog vs Canelo and outclassed Ramirez tonight.

Bam Rodriguez also had a strong year but admittedly against faded opposition.

Roman Gonzalez could also be in the mix if he beats Estrada convincingly. Already has a victory over Martinez.

        Bivol no doubt

And it will only add to it whe canelo whoops him in the rematch.

Hard to make a case for anyone else. Most of the other top guys only fought once in 2022 and schooling the P4P no 1 and following it on with a top unbeaten contender in your own divison is hard to crack.

Shout out to my boy Kenshiro too of course, cementing himself as top dog at Light Fly but his first win of the year was a revenge rematch in a fight he shouldn't have lost in 2021 so it can't be rated as highly as Bivols win over Canelo although destroying the red hot divisonal no 2 Kyocuchi as an underdog surpasses Bivols win over Ramirez IMO.

Still a few more fights in the year though

Maybe not might go to Spence if he fights before the end of the year, they can be fickle in the voting.

He should be the FOTY for beating the P4P king alone

Beating Ramirez is just icing on the cake

They will look at the version of Canelo, its not just whats on paper they remember how a guy wins and loses, as I said if Spence wins an action-packed fight with another stoppage before the end of the year don't be surprised if Errol got it.

Usy k could be. He was underdog against josh. You can say Josh is no good now, but why make him favourite then?

                    One fight wont do it.
