Seriously folks, go watch Duran fight at WW, not after he was going to retire and then came back and fought fat and without caring against guys like Laing at 154. Watch the WW Duran. He beats Mayweather every day by close UD.

The biggest thing being that he would lose nearly every exchange and not punch nearly enough to win a decision. He would get pushed back into the ropes where he is very happy to be, which would mean he would end up there for the majority of the fight and Duran would be harder to hit for Mayweather than anyone else he's fought by a mile.

If Leonard couldn't tag the fit Duran, nor connect with any jabs to stop him from getting in, Mayweather would have his shots slipped and countered, then he would be slammed by Duran who would hammer away to the body harder than anyone has before and he would be able to negate Floyd's speed just as he did Leonard's.

Not only that but I think people think of the old Duran that fought Hears, Hagler and maybe Leonard the third time. The lightweight/WW Duran was fast. Real fast. Surprised the hell out of Leonard how fast he was. The speed difference wouldn't end up being that much and this is one fight where Floyd would not win the inside battle.

Floyd is not good enough offensively to keep Duran off him, and Duran even at welterweight was easily had the physical traits(strength, speed, footwork, etc.) to bully Floyd on the ropes the whole fight.
