Comments Thread For: Dmitry Bivol: I Know Zurdo Ramirez Knows It's Not True That I Was Ducking Him

Dmitry Bivol and members of his team couldn't help but laugh. They think it's ridiculous that Gilberto Ramirez even suggested Bivol ducked him, especially since the unbeaten WBA light heavyweight champion embraced a showdown with the icon considered boxing's best pound-for-pound prior to Bivol's

This fight between Bivol, and Ramirez is going to be a hell of a showdown.
Two undefeated former champions, vying for the top spot in their division.
Now what I'd like to see next is the Winner versus Beterbiev in early, or mid 2023.

Arum won't let him near Beterbiev come on. Arum says Bivol is boring and there is no money in it, unless Bivol signs a big long-term contract with Top Rank Bob isn't risking Betrviev. When has Bob said he wants a Bivol fight with Beterbiev. How can you duck someone not asking for the fight ???

Then Beterbiev is a puppet to Arum. Got it. One is a duck, the other is a puppet. Point is, both are b.itches for not making that fight.

I've said Zurdo works his mouth a lot, I hope he's working out just as much. I see Bivol outclassing bim and making the weight drained heavyweight work extremely hard to get a round. Zurdo is too slow and the volume punching won't help against Bivol's topnotch defense. Ramirez is tough, so it should go 12, but Bivol with an easy unanimous decision.

In Boxing the perception is that if there is a delay in a champ fighting a mandatory, that he is reluctant so I can see why people would think that - I mean Zurdo had to fight two eliminators to get this shot. It took quite some time for Bivol's team to get the ball rolling, but I'm glad that Hearn didn't get his way with Buatsi because while Buatsi is one of the best of the division, the Ramirez fight is the most intriguing.

Bivol sucks and he's boring. Zurdo brings light to the 175lb division. Can't wait for Zurdo to get this W.
