Thankfully both men are young and this fight isn't past it's sell-by date. Yet the amount of time to get this together is as usual frustrating for fans. Hope they get it done, not a PPV fight but PBC doesn't give fans good fights for free, shoot not even bad fights are free with them. With Showtime's failing Paul project and the flops that are Porky Davis PPVs they need to pressure Uncle Al to get his guys to fight legit opponents. They have to be tired of losing money.

Now we’re talking! Neither are huge enough on their own that we just might get this one. It takes two to tango, baby!

I want to see this fight but Benavidez having the interim belt and still not being mandatory for Canelo? Why they have eliminator fights for interim belt?

Canelo’s out until September anyway and Benavidez needs a credible opponent.

They need Benavidez to stay undefeated. There must be gym talk that Plant can't beat him.

Sanctioning fees, they all do it and take their time enforcing. Look at the WBA and the Santa Cruz situation, or the fact that Porky Davis still has secondary titles while they stripped other 2nd tier "champs". Belts look important to the casual, that is why these guys pay these clowns

If plant’s stamina holds up he can win this. If he gasses, David stops him.
