Worst match ups in recent years

Worst match ups in recent years and im talkin about fights that no one wanted to see or fights you knew were gonna suck. We are also talking farcical fights to.

    Calzaghe vs Jones

I never wanted to see from day one because i knew Joe would get too much respect for the win and he was on his second 40 year old in as many fights.

    Wink vs Hopkins

It seemed to me the only people in the world that wanted that fight to happen was the two fighters themselves.

And was there any need for a rematch of Tarver v Dawson when the 1st fight was so rubbish, he could of re matched Johnson yet took this joke a fight than no one wanted to see.

Winky-Pwill. Worst opponent to fight for Winky after a long sabbatical.

I agree with Winky vs P Will and Tarver vs Dawson II - Damn I couldn't believe when that fight was announced.

Maybe Cotto-Jennings and Pavlik-Rubio, altho I guess those guys needed easy fights after their loses.

Yeah Cotto vs Jennings!! just what was the ****ing point of that, he would of got more out of his preparation leading upto that fight than he got in the ring, so pointless even if he was coming off a loss.

Op, Joe got NO respect for beating jones up.

Also jones was 39, like only 3 years older than joe.

Going in, no one wanted to see Pacquaio/Oscar and Oscar against Forbes was pretty horrible as well ( especially the weight disadvantage that Forbes was at).

And Dawson had a rematch clause against Tarver, he didn't want the fight.

And you said that like it was boxing years...LOL Jones had been knocked out cold 2 times prior, and the only decent win he had in his comeback was a faded Trinidad. Calzaghe was prime compared to him.
