Why is John Ryder criminally underrated?

    - Clearly beat Rocky Fielding and got robbed.
    - Clearly beat Callum Smith and got robbed.
    - Arguably beat Daniel Jacobs.
    - Gave close fight to Billy Joe Saunders.
    - Only legit losses are Saunders and Blackwell.
    - Second best SMW on the planet in Boxrec.

I scored Fielding/Smith fight 8-4 and Jacobs fight 7-5 for him. He also gave closest fight to BJS with Eubank Jr. before Canelo.

He is solid fighter. He has low pace and output but high accuracy. His body shots are class. He lands his punches clean and crisp. He doesn't use too much exaggerating skills. He is actually hard to land clean by power punches.

For instance, his stats are against Smith were phenomenal. He landed 34 more punches despite threw 273 less punches. His accuracy was 49%. That's basically schooling but he lost by UD.

People underestimate him because he is from UK. He ain't very big draw. He is second or third best SMW if he beats Parker too without doubt. I think he is the most underrated fighter with Caleb Plant at the moment.

Whilst he beat Fielding and Smith in reality, when you don't get the official result it hurts you. Though, Jacobs beat him handily 8-4 in my view, so he got one back there. On top of that, the Blackwell loss is/was a big black mark against him, as that was a fight he was comfortably expected to win. Good fighter. Fringe world level I would say. Nash out

GGG's entire PRIME was built on the backs of cherries.

Ryder was better guy in generalship, power punches and accuracy. Jacobs had good first part but then lost it. 7-5 Ryder.

Try to be serious for a second. How do you think Benavidez vs Ryder would go?

To be objective, Ryder fought Fielding, Callum and Jacobs who have similar size with Benavidez. Saunders ain't small guy too. He did good job against all of them. I say 50/50. Ryder is quality and Bumavidez is quantity due to his work rate.
