But by whose standards? Who is "the best"? Wouldn't Manny be considered "the best", not Shane, since he is the P4P #1 ? Isn't it just using an argument because people prefer Shane out of personal feelings, rather than 'the best' argument?

There is no bias when we've seen Cotto, Shane, Margarito, and Clottey pretty much all fight eachother.


When Manny shows he can **** with the big boys of 147 as well, I'll include him in that category. But I think hes hit a wall in Cotto who has taken punches from much bigger guys in the last 4 years.

fighting shane will get him 8 figures,a linear title,respect and leverage..this is a great buisness move....and floyd should do it....cause arum isnt gonna let him near pacman without floyd taking 40 percent or less which he know floyd will never take......

Fighting Shane would get him 7 figures. Schaefer only offered 8 mill to fight him for his comeback fight, i don't think he would offer more now that Shane hasn't been doing anything.

You're a waste of time. Do you not take into consideration the size advantage Winky had over Mosley? Forrest and Winky outboxed Mosley somewhat, but they muscled him around with their size more so. Mayweather wouldn't be able to do that. I thought Mosley beat Cotto in a close fight.
