Caballero To Confront Juanma, John Back on HBO

Does anybody that Juan Ma Lopez would demand the lion's share against Vasquez if Izzy happened to beat John and became ranked #1 at 126? That would really be bad. At least Caballero really is a high risk, low reward opponent. But it probably isn't like that now that he is trying to hype the fight up.

We all know what happened with Hopkins. I don't expect Caballero to literally burn flags, but you get my point. He'll pull a Mosley at least. At this point the fight's agreed to and Caballero's job is to stir some ****. He's done a pretty good job at that so far.

He's a fighter with no fan base that's going to get the chance to make the paycheck of a lifetime against Juanma and he basically made it happen all by himself. Good for him, and good for us as boxing fans. That said, he is technically unsound and will most, most likely be KO'd at 122. I give him a little more than a puncher's chance. In many ways he has been hyped due to a couple of fights and his physical resemblance (at a lower weight class of course) to PWill who is a much more gifted boxer. At the end of the day I thank him for making it easier for Arum to get Juanma to unify all the titles at 122 before moving up and making his mark at 126. Thanks Caballero.

Lueveno is way better than Molitor IMO, and far more proven as a quality champion. Plus hes naturally bigger than Lopez.

The reason why I make that comparison is because both Molitor and Luevano have similar styles. And Luevano isn't all that. He nearly got knocked out by Terdsak Jaendang. I'll wait to see what Juan Ma does, but there was a story on BScene a few days ago saying Luevano is a candidate for a Juan Ma fight and that's bull****. Caballero or nothing.

Have to totally disagree. Caballero is a relatively low risk high reward. Nobody beats Juanma at 122 and Juanma will get a fat paycheck for once again filling out an arena in PR (this time it will be at a more expensive arena with higher ticket prices) and gets to start his legacy for real. Caballero is no bum but he is not in Juanma's class.

He's an idiot for not moving up and i would say even dumber for fighting Juanma, except that at least will get payed "big" for once in his life. Good for him.

And btw, I have plenty of Caballero fights on tape, from Thailand, Canada, Panama, U.S.A , a lot of places. I don't watch one fight and judge a fighter for eternity. I watch the history of him kickin ass and going to war.

caballero's like a mean chiohuahua,hes gonna bark his way to a juama fight only to not bite & get knocked out. funny to me is how all the classless name calling & disrespectful remarks made by him have actually got some amateur boxing fans to actually jump on the "pelechin" bandwagon. & how the fact that juanma has been a class act by not really falling into the disrespectful name calling game that celestino has pursued, many have considered this a weakness or sign that he is scared of caballero. to me that is ludicrous. you dont need a great boxing eye to tell that even though caballero has the experience over juanma, juanma posseses all the tools to destroy caballero in their match which by the way will take place early next year thanks to caballero's big mouth. People forget that juanma is promoted by top rank which prides itself for bringing along gold chip fighters with impeccable precision. you think they give a rat ass about what pelechin wants or says? if promoters gave in to everytime a opposing fighter starts screaming demanding a fight with their golden goose or future golden goose they'd be broke. sugar ray leonard was called a coward by the hearns camp & fans for making hearns wait for 2 years till he knew the fight was juicy enough to cash in. for two years the media,hearns & the fans blasted ray until dundee felt the time was right. if made 2 years prior the fight purse would not have even been half that. their could be many reasons that we the fans sometimes dont always understand, what you cant deny unless you really dont have any clue about boxing is that no way will caballero's skill over match that of juanma's. & sometimes the worst thing to do in boxing is piss the sh.t out of a devastating
puncher & very skilled boxer like juanma. I'd hate to be pelechin on that night. remember, just because the dog barks alot, dont mean he bites. its the silent, killer look dog you need to watch out for....u feel me?
