Katie Taylor will defend her Undisputed Lightweight World title against Karen Elizabeth Carabajal at the OVO Arena Wembley in London on Saturday October 29, live worldwide on DAZN (excluding Australia and New Zealand). The Irish superstar retained her Undisputed Lightweight World title after a Fight of the Year contender with Puerto Rico’s Serrano – the first women’s boxing bout to headline the famous MSG in its 140-year history.

Chatteris’ European Featherweight Champion Jordan Gill puts his title on the line for the first time against Spain’s two-weight World Champion Kiko Martinez in a fight that also doubles up as an Eliminator for the IBF World title held by Josh Warrington.

Irish Lightweight contender Gary Cully fights under the Matchroom promotional banner for the first time, Romford Heavyweight sensation Johnny Fisher brings ‘The Romford Bull Army’ to North-West London for a scheduled six-round clash and there’s action for Takeley Light-Heavyweight prospect John Hedges and Luton Super-Welterweight Jordan Reynolds.

I believe that I am skipping the main-event.

Karen Carabajal is a mirror image of Katie Taylor: Sloppy, dirty, and a clumsy slaphappy bum. I don't know if anyone has noticed, but Amanda Serrano's unification with unbeaten IBF featherweight champ, Sarah Mahfoud, got more buzz in the UK in spite the fact that it was chief support to two big goofs.

Who would show up for this?

Why else would I be watching, mlac? Of course. But in all seriousness, Kiko only got this fight with Jordan Gill because he is coming off a KO and looked like sht vs.Josh Warrington ; Martinez looks completely shot, this might be his last stand.

Warrington headbutted Kiko to death, otherwise the fight would have been quite balanced. Watch it again. I may be wrong, but threw money on Kiko to win this one, provided Gill doesn't start running around à la Sunny Edwards. Guerfi had Gill more or less done before he went asleep at the wheel.

Yes, you are correct ; right after Warrington lands a headbutt, Josh Warrington scored the knock-down in the first. I remember complaining that they screwed Kiko because the officials knew Josh had a broken-jaw and that the fight was again about to turn.

This is a interesting match because both men have qualities that are bad styles for one another : Martinez comes with that pressure that ends fights, Gill the technician who trains going the distance for a points' victory ; an old slow world-class vet with flawed defense, vs. a chinny and heartless unbalanced euro-level contender. It could be a fun fight.
