Comments Thread For: Logan Paul: Anderson, I Love You, But You're Gonna Be Face Down, Horizontal, By End Of Night

GLENDALE, Arizona - Even Jake Paul's perpetually supportive big brother questioned his decision to fight Anderson Silva. By Thursday, though, Logan Paul predicted that Silva will meet the same fate Saturday night that fellow former UFC champion Tyron Woodley experienced 10 months ago. The elder Paul playfully taunted Silva during the final press

Normally you'd think it crazy that a non pro, a YouTubers saying they can beat a firmer champ crazy. But these mixed fights recently revealed pro fighters might have been elevated too much. Of course pro fighters deserve respect for risking health though.
Hope Silva Kos the young upstart

Maybe Jake is just talented and dedicated. I don't have any amateur or professional fights but have trained in boxing gyms. The training and sparring I did was enough to get me to a level where I would always (easily) get the better of any non-fighter in a friendly spar. The reflexes, dexterity and technique developed under proper training is huge.

I think we need to give more credit to those that take up boxing seriously and develop as fighters.

Jake has been training for like 4-5 years with access to the best resources anyone could get, hes not just some random guy off the street. And then hes fighting hand picked opponents from a different sport to the one hes been training for.

This guy has been KO'd twice in sparring, nearing 50 years old and people are patting Paul on the back for fighting him. What a sad ass joke. Showtime, Arizona comission are sad for allowing this farce to go forward. If you are paying for it, you are an absolute sucker.

I have never wished harm on anyone in the ring, With that said I hope Paul gets hurt just enough that this side show act comes to an abrupt end.

So you are saying a guy with only 5 fights is on a high level?
I am not a fan of the two brothers, however, what they are doing is no different from any other pro boxer who at one time was at 5-0. They were all fighting journeymen and run of the mill guys to get experience and pad their records.

Did you know who Ryan Garcia was when he was 5-0? How about Tank? How about Boots? Or Spence? Or Crawford? Or even Canelo? No one was criticizing these guys or demanding they fight top boxers because they weren’t famous. They were at a the same place as Jake Paul.

The difference is Paul brings in a truckload of money, millions of new fans and he’s already famous. Maybe he’ll get to that point where he can get to fight real contenders. Maybe he won’t.
