Also isn’t Raymi the guy the WBA moved up their rankings whilst he was dead?
Yeah, The WBA had him ranked at 11 I believe after his death. Too little too late.

He was prospect. There is nothing more in boxing than prospect champions. The important thing is not to be limited to one belt, but to keep chasing greatness by risking the zero. Just like Inoue.

I would have liked to see Raymi vs Daigo Higa as well....that's a lot of firepower.

I've been thinking about the following matchups

          Yoko Gushiken vs Ali Raymi
Myung Woo Yuh vs Ali Raymi
Junk Koo Chang vs Ali Raymi

Do you guys think Raymi runs this HOF level gauntlet?

For real? Ali Raymi RIP, he was a side show and never faced anybody in the 100 rankings, only one guy with 10 fights and all of them from the same borough.

Never heard of Ali Raymi, condolences to his loved ones and to him, but as a professional boxer, not sure he has accomplished something of note to say Inoue had maneuvered his way around him. Having beaten ranked fighters that actually held titles like Ryoichi Taguchi, Adrian Hernandez, and Omar Narváez.

Most of Raymi's opponents are undefeated, but unknown and rarely any of them have double digit wins excluding one of them, who has about 10 fights against unknown opponents of the same region.

It's kind of like saying a young Arthur Beterbiev is avoiding the legendary Jorge Kahwagi (12-0, 12 KOs). Well not the same degree, as Kahwagi had paid his opponents to fake being knocked out in fixed matches and had plastic surgery to have fake muscles. Not sure why a successful financial man did all that.

Are you saying the four fight series with Prince Maz isn't as valuable as Ryoichi Taguchi?

But are you picking him to beat Yoko Gushiken?
