Comments Thread For: Jamaine Ortiz: I Always Viewed Myself Fighting Lomachenko, Being Top P4P One Day

This is my crazy pick of the year: Ortiz by Decision. Felt this way since they signed the fight. Loma has aged. Usyk had the advantage of not having to make weight. We all know how difficult making weight is for older fighters especially after a 10 month lay off. A tall order to fill but I see youth prevailing 115-113

I just bet for the fight to go the distance. Jamaine Ortiz is big and young, so I give him that much credit. If this soft PR dude can't even make it 12, I'll roast him forever.

I would not bet this fight with someone else's money. You are so right about the problem with age. We honestly have no idea what version will show up in the ring. All things being equal, Lomachenko SHOULD win. But he is older, fighting in a division that is his absolutely heaviest where everyone is naturally bigger than him, and he has been dealing with things way bigger than boxing. You are making an unpopular but extremely defendable pick here.

Well the good news is you are accomplishing half of this because you are fighting Lomachenko.

Bad news is you will likely lose so no p4p.
