Does Canelo need Bivol to win on Saturday?

If another Mexican beats the man Canelo couldn’t how would that effect his status as Mexico’s biggest and best fighter?

FTR, I got Bivol by UD but I heard Paulie and Roy discussing this matter on Pro Box TV and I think it’s an interesting point.

What if a CW beats the LHW unlike MW?

Your question is that. Nothing happens.

Canelo needs to stay in his lane when it comes to Bivol. He was lucky the first time Bivol wasn't a finisher like Beterbiev. Haymon got 3 bodies Charlo Spence and Benavidez for 150 million plus still on the table. He's 32-33, undisputed and reached his limits. Take the brand name big money fights and call it a day.

Same here tbh. I mean I’d watch it but I don’t see how Canelo wins without favourable conditions.

Canelo-Benavidez and Beterbiev-Bivol are the fights to make IMO.

Who's the middleweight? Haven't seen Bivol fight any middleweights.

Canelo would need to saw an arm off to make Middleweight nowadays.

Huge Opportunity for Zurdo to reach Stardom for sure not because Bivol is a Superstar which he is not but more so because he would have beaten the guy that beat Canelo then if he gets the win he should call out Canelo 1000%

strange to me that Canelo vs Zurdo is not talked up more that could be a Mega Fight for sure, way bigger than Canelo vs Bivol 2

                  You must be joking.

If Ramirez fights and beats Canelo, he also takes his fans.

That is why Canelo would never fight a dangerous Mexican.

and as a Canelo fan as well, I'm not OK with that at all, he SHOULD fight the Winner, if not then fight Benavidez take your WBC Mandatory

Bivol doesn't even sound interested in running it back with Canelo anyway so even if Bivol wins it is no Guarantee he fights Canelo next, funny how that works and how the Table turns

As a Canelo Fan, I'm stepping up and Apply Pressure on Canelo to fight Zurdo if he wins if not then fight Benavidez
