Wow,have u ever thought that maybe fight fans hold their fighters to a higher standard than squeezing every inch or pound of adavantage they can get!!Cotto will not cheat because he doesn't have to,the man has honor & i'm willing to bet that all his fans would criticise him if he pulled a floyd!!

Gotta pull the BS card on that one my dude. Cotto would get the 3rd degree if he came in overweight.

Btw, Cotto can do that if he wants to. It's a WW fight and it's for his WW title. Anything from 147 and below is acceptable. Floyd was just smart enough to go over the contract, read it carefully, make a few changes on it, and capitalize on the advantages for his tune up.

If it does it wont be down to Cotto

Floyd/Pac would out do Cotto/pac too

Cotto needs to get on to ecko to get him some more exposure

Actually Pac wanted it at 142. Roach, Arum, and Cotto said 147 was okay. Pac almost walked away from this fight because Cotto refused to put his title on the line if Pac didn't come up to 147. Cotto had a change of heart (more money offered by Arum) and decided to do 145 with title.

I don't care about weight. Do you think it's fair that Cotto will be coming in at 160 on fight night while Pacman be at 148-150?

Idc cause if Cotto wins it will be cause of skills not size, 2 pounds won't do much of a difference.

Typical responce,if weight doesn't matter, there wouldn't be weight classes!!In the case of Cotto-Pacman weight shouldn't matter because Pacman is proven at 140 & above!!Weight classes are defined by official weight in,not unofficial fight night weights, contract is contract!!

Lets hope not, but what if he couldn't make it or what if he just says he can't. Hard to go nuts on him considering Mayweather got away with it.

these catchweight fights are a bunch of bs...i say if you are moving up to face the champ, just face him at the weight division's limit...if you can't make the limit, just come in as close as you can without compromising your speed and power and look to beat the champ...
