Boxing OGs know why this fight is not happening now. It all boils to one thing, the bag is not big enough. The fight as projected by the handlers will not do the money both are demanding. If both are ready to readjust their purse, the fight will happen.

Thing about dud duckford is he considers himself a mayweather level talent and draw and feels he commands those kinds of purses.the reality is he not close to mayweather level talent and he doesn’t deserve what he thinks. Danny Garcia beat Jose benevidez more easily than dud did tbh dud took a lot of punches from no defense bumavidez. Dud could fight anyone in this division but he’s fighting avensyan? No spence?No Ugas?no ortiz? No ennis? He “unified” 140 by beating Julius indongo. I love Bomac but 147 isn't conquered until Boots Ennis is defeated by either Bud or Errol. Boots is right there with them and he ain't going nowhere anytime soon, and he's gonna have to be dealt with. Right now, he's not even discussed, as if he's not there. That's disrespectful. Better get him now, because the better he gets, the worse it gets for whoever is in the ring with him. To all the killers at 147- please don't go hopping around in weight. Please face eachother for boxing history. Ortiz, Boots, Bud, Spence. Match them up any which way, and its some of the best fights any of us will ever see as boxing fans in this generation or at anytime. Difference between agreement and the purse demanded. They could agree on the split in percentage but it is another question whether the financial terms agreed can be generated. Is there a market for the purse agreed? This is what is blocking the fight at this point in time. If both of you agreed to have 50M, it is cute but can the handlers generate it for the fight?

In 2023, He'll pursue the fight. Yeah, right. He's happy to live off his one belt and have a claim to being one of the best rather than find out for sure who is the actual best. Spence has been unifying the titles while Crawford has been holding his one ransom.

Crawford has been a WW for four years. In that time he has fought six fights. Horn, Benavidez Jr, Khan, Kavaliauskas, Brook, Porter. Half of them are now retired. What a weak collection of fighters against whom he has somehow managed to preserve his reputation. I'm not convinced his P4P rep is deserved.
