I agree 100% with your statement Bronx224, I don't know why Charlo got spooked by Benavidez, but it speak's volumes for Benavidez's fighting skill's.
Jermall Charlo has seen enough of what Benavidez bring's to the ring to want nothing to do with him.
I believe that Canelo has seen the same dangerous skill set's that Benavidez has put on display against his opponent's, and he doesn't want nothing to do with him.
Caleb Plant may take the Benavidez challenge especially coming off of his spectacular one punch knockout against Anthony Dirrell.
That would actually be a competitive fight until one of them got into their groove then it would be down hill for the other, and I think that it would be Plant going down hill.
Which ever way you cut it, if Benavidez continues to win, and calling out Canelo, Saul won't be able to avoid him for much longer.

Isn't that what he just said? Canelo was just one of the boxers in question not Floyd, besides Floyd has a much better resume than Canelo including Canelo at 24 when Floyd was 30+

That's what Charlo thought, and then they created a WBC Franchise Belt!

If Canelo ever gets the balls to face Benavides he's getting KOed but he will never take that fight. Canelo can't wait for David to get old like he did ggg.

That franchise belt doesn't do anything for boxing, it's actually a made up figment of the WBC's imagination.
By the way Charlo versus Canelo would've bee a good fight, but I actually think that Canelo could beat Charlo.
Albeit with some more wear and tear to his body which is already showing sign's of slowing down, and more susceptible to cut's.
Now Benavidez has the engine to put some real mileage on Canelo's barometer, and really beat him to the finish line.

Yes because a 6'2 volume power puncher with fast hands and a great jab, and much better cardio is such a perfect style match up for a 5'7 midget with cardio issues who only throws 40 punches a round and gasses by the championship rounds. lol....

In reality its the worst possible match up for Canelo which is why he will never fight him. If he was such a great style match up Canelo would have fought him already because it would be a great scalp for his legacy to take out such a highly rated and talented opponent. David would be one of the best wins on his record, a prime monster, with speed and power. What better wins does he have? Old man Kovalev and GGG?
