Wilder was decking Fury with single punches.
This is a simplistic way of looking at it because it dismisses the possibility of attritional damage. Yes, Wilder hit Fury with a select few bombs, but how many punches did he land in total over the course of three fights? Usyk does not have the knockout power of Wilder, no argument, but he evidently possesses strength enough with his skill to damage eyes and wear opponents down.
Everyone in boxing knows Usyk does not have that type of power.
But? As you have pointed out. He has the endurance, work-rate, speed and punch variation.
To theoretically, put a beating on Tyson Fury.
I still make Tyson Fury the favorite to beat Usyk, but? It has been a long time since he has actually fought another elite level fighter in terms of technical ability 'We have to go all the way back to the Kiltschko fight'. And Tyson Fury is no longer 246-248 pounds, he does not train under Peter Fury or use his 'Old Riddler style'.
Wilder was a elite level fight, in terms of the challenge. But Wilder no disrespect, is not really going to push Fury in terms of skill like Usyk will.
So for sure Tyson Fury is the favorite, but I am beginning to understand? That maybe this fight is not as simple as Fury just walking forward and expecting to destroy Usyk etc.
