Fans are looking for someone exciting who's going to challenge themselves.
What Jake Paul is doing is objectively crazy.
In boxing, he's still a nobody, and he's taking on Silva?
      It's nuts.
      It's also impressive.
And people are paying to see it.

      Take note, Crawford.
      Take note.

The one thing the covid vaccine craze showed us is people are dumb as hell and will do anything if it's being pushed by the idols they worship. Nevermind the fact that Silva is almost 50, nevermind the fact he isn't a boxer (beating Chavez Jr. in 2021 means nothing) forget the fact he has been viciously KO'd, he's the best they can do for Jake Paul. It's a big step in regards to the old, small and washed up wrestlers combined with the occasional former NBA player. Now we get to see him fight a near 50 yr old Silva. This is the stuff legends are made of. You defend this, simply don't call yourself a boxing fan. If your a casual and know it, have fun if that kind of thing does it for you.

Of course, this is not a competitive fight. Hope the stretcher is ready for Silva. Whoever sanctioned this fight should be held accountable if something happens to Anderson. Then again, fans are sick of the mainstream boxing even if the alternative is worse. As crazy as it is.

Good going and egg on the face for those who said the fight won't sell.
