Soo...Spence has to fight tough Mandatories and Bud fights who....

Y'all this was planned on Bud's side. Bud wanted to take as much tread off of Spence's tire before getting in the ring with that monster. I'm sorry, but we all know that Avanyesan doesn't prepare you for Spence. Bud wanted a light touch, an easy fight, so he could guarantee that Spence pay day in Feb, without taking too much damage. But, Spence has to fight tough, young, hungry Stanionis? Bud knew that if he backed off the fight now, Spence would have to fight some tough @$$ mandatories and all he would have to do is fight a "stay busy fight". How about this, the WBO force Bud's ducking @$$ to fight his mandatory in Vergil? 3hit sounds fair to me

Neither Avanesyan or Stanionis are challenging fights for Crawford or Spence. Both solid, lower end top 10 guys but Bud and Spence are clearly a level above that calibre of fighter.

Agreed. But Stanionis is significantly better than Avanyesan. Honestly, I've been following Stanionis' career, and he's a tough kid. I wouldn't sleep on him at all. I have him ranked 4th in the division under Spence, Bud, and Ortiz. I have Boots under him because he's still unproven.

He’s by no means a bad fighter but I don’t really see how he troubles Spence. He’s one of those guys for me, does most things well but does nothing great.

More excuses. Men out here protecting Spence like he is their girlfriend or family member.

          1. Virgil Ortiz Jr's team turned down the 1st Crawford mandatory. Robert Garcia is on video. Go look it up. He is now no 1 WBO again but he wants to challenge Stanley for the WBA mandatory for a Spence fight

          2. Ennis is the no 1 IBF. I didn't hear any more crying when Brook had to fight Spence with a broken eye. No one is stopping Ennis from challenging Ortiz for that no 1 WBO spot.

Go cry to Ennis and Ortiz and ask them why they don't want Crawford? There is an old saying in sports if you ever played a sport. Skill recognizes skill. Ennis and Ortiz along with their teams know who is the better fighter between Spence and Crawford

Crawfford - Undisputed, 2 times lineal, 2-time ring, 3 division
Spence - 10 years in the same division to get 3 belts and still hasn't fought Thurman since 2016

          It's comical at this point.

There was word Crawford interested in Ennis.. Oops, showtime problems again or did Ennis really want a Crawford fight at this point in his career?

          It's comical at this point.

            NONSENSE!!

Stanoinis is a worthy fight for Spence and has fought better comp at 147 than Ennis has.

IDK why everybody keeps saying February. The fight was never happening then anyways. Football playoffs...

He could be risking Spence moving up and boxing him out again at 154
