    All roads lead to Rome.

Kinda reminds me of Hagler at the end of his tenure with Leonard, the rise of Nunn and the Body Snatcher

If I were Spence I would fight Crawford in Q1 of 2023 then Ennis in Q4 then bounce to 154.

Everyone so confident Jaron beats Spence. We've never seen Boots in with anyone the level of Errol.

As far as what Spence should do, fight someone. He and Crawford can meet at 154. No need to starve yourself at this weight any longer than necessary. Bud had his shot.

Unless Spence gets forced to fight Stanionis (or Ennis) next, he should plan to fight Crawford on the date PBC was pushing for, which I believe is in February. Finish the contract with Bud - contingent on him winning Dec 10th, of course - and move ahead as planned. If Spence truly wants to be undisputed at 147, what's the problem? Bud wanted some ring action this year as by Dec 10th it'll be over a year since he fought Porter. Spence fought in April, so a February return date is a quicker turnaround than Crawford was going to get had they fought in November or December.

I don't think the hold-up problem is due to either Spence or Crawford, I think it's PBC not ready to have this fight scheduled until February. Dragging their feet. Maybe these mandatory requests will light some fire under those dragging feet.

It's very sad. Everyone is playing waiting game now.
Wait for more than a year or more...it doesn't matter.

Ennis could win titles all the way to 160. This all seems like those two trying to avoid the fight with Ennis and Crawford trying to dump it on Errol in a sucker move. The narrative of Crawford being offered an unacceptable deal may be true, I can't really say. But the chronology looks bad; Bud already had an easy fight worked out and leaving Errol to face possibly fighting Ennis. They both don't want to fight him so they should fight each other. This situation is a disgrace.

If I were advising his team, I'd say stay away from Ennis, that's a very difficult fight to win. But if he were to fight him, the man has got even more confidence that anyone imagined.

But why risk a loss now when the bigger money Crawford fight is still a possibility. You need to have the kind of Leonard or Duran talent to just take on anyone anytime, I think.
Spence and Crawford are nowhere near Leonard in terms of talent - or Tommy Hearns for that matter - Crawford would be outgunned and Spence would be outboxed

Duran had no business fighting above 140 but if he fought against Crawford and Spence I'd narrowly favor him

Until more info comes out, if it ever does, we don't know for sure. But lets look at what we know. Bud/PBC decided that he was getting a % of the takings. That right there is problematic. That always had the potential to fall through. If you are Bud to you just keep hoping it's all gonna work out? So now we know Bud had a back up plan in case the talks failed. I say this is smart business - it also gave him some leverage and if he really is getting $10 million up then it just gave him so much leverage in the negotiations - he could walk away at any time.
I'd say you'd have to be very cynical to conclude that Bud never had any intention of fighting Spence.

Ennis shows great potential but he has been knocking over nobodies its easy to look like the next coming of Leonard when youre facing nothing, Spence is a way better than anything Ennis has faced, not saying he couldnt beat spence just that the jump in class is a great equalizer.

Spence has real fights coming up. Look at the shtt that Duckford is pulling off. He's fighting a opponent that got ko'd by a fighter that he already knocked out. Duckford knows that Spence has a chance to beat him so he's protecting the 0
