If Spence is smart, he'll take on Stanionis, nice comfortable fight.
If I were advising his team, I'd say stay away from Ennis, that's a very difficult fight to win. But if he were to fight him, the man has got even more confidence that anyone imagined.
But why risk a loss now when the bigger money Crawford fight is still a possibility. You need to have the kind of Leonard or Duran talent to just take on anyone anytime, I think.Comment

Two scenarios I'm fine with:
1) Spence fights either Boots or Stanionis, in turn Crawford fights the other then the winners both fight at 147. If it's Spence-Crawford and it's a great fight, I'm down for a rematch at 154 and they enter that division together, fight each other. Boots, Stanionis, and Ortiz become the new dogs at 147.
2) Whichever gets Spence, between Boots and Stanionis, the other fights Ortiz. Winner gets winner, loser gets loser.
If these guys fight each other in any combination there's 2-3, maybe even 4 years' worth of high-quality fights. Plenty of time for cashing in or out.Comment

Spence has no easy route, if he stays at 147 and want to keep his Belts Stanionis and Boots are very tough and Dangerous fights and if he goes up to 154 and fight Fundora that is dangerous as well
So Spence has plenty of great options even without the Crawford fight, they're tough Options/Challenges and I personally don't think Spence will shy away from any of these Challenges the REAL QUESTION is are they ready for Spence I personally don't think so I think even Boots as much as I'm high on him already, not ready Spence or Crawford
Stanionis the one who was going to get step aside to allow Spence vs Crawford so he likely gets first priority then Boots OR Spence Drops and goes to 154 leaving Boots, Ortiz, Thurman and Stanionis to fight for those 3 Vacant Belts while Fighting FundoraLast edited by sicko; 10-23-2022, 07:39 PM.Comment
