Comments Thread For: Usyk Promoter on Tyson Fury: He is the Next Opponent For Usyk

The promoter of WBO, WBA, IBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk made it abundantly clear there is only one target on the hit list for his charge.

I don't like the Wilder fight for Usyk. I think he gets chinned by Wilder. He may win rounds against him but if Deontay lands a flush shot, I think its lights out for Usyk. I actually think that the Fury fight is a more winnable fight for him. I think he out hustles Fury for a decision. Just my opinion.

I would agree. Wilder will eventually land a shot flush on Usyk and that's either the end of the fight or the beginning of the end. In the case of Fury, it is simply that Usyk has greater skill and wins by decision.

Even if Fury beats Usyk according to 'some' Fury will be shook of Joshua ...I'm 'shook' of such shortsightedness .Would it help if I said Fury is 'shook' of everyone ? ffs.

Fury-Usyk is obvious, but I tell you, Usyk-Wilder would be pretty darn exciting.

Usyk boxes rings around Wilder, but then you're on the edge of your seat checking if Wilder lands a big punch or two.

I definitely regard Usyk as a great and skilled fighter but I will repeat what I have said elsewhere in the Forum. Fury will show how a big guy should fight a smaller guy who ain't Mike Tyson. I have Fury winning this one. Fury has the range to keep Usyk at a distance and score with the jab. If Usyk moves around, Fury can catch him. If Usyk tries to clinch, Fury bullies him with his height and weight. Fury can switch stances so Usyk's southpaw stance advantage can be negated. If Usyk comes in heavier, he loses stamina. I have Fury beating Usyk, Usyk beating Joshua, Joshua beating Fury, Fury beating Wilder, Wilder beating Usyk, and Wilder-Joshua near 50-50 with a slight advantage to Wilder.

Had the two been the same size or Fury slightly bigger than Usyk, I would have given Usyk a good chance.

Agree with your post completely , I know the little man is super human but I can't see a way he wins .Tyson won't give him the same privileges as other fighters at the weight have and although he has a respected dig I doubt he can do what Wilder failed to do ..... but catching Tyson flush and perfect , running on may be his only chance ......but I won't be betting on it.
