Will be a boring jab fest, no KO, someone wins but slim Decision. I see it a MD for Thompson however, Scott might surprise us all and come in like he's never before. He is like Kingpin Johnson with all his trash talk.

im glad hes making this step up...this fight will really show where he stands as a top tier heavyweight..thompson is no joke, he gave wladimir klitschko the toughest fight out of all of klitschkos title defenses..if scott comes fully prepared i see him winning a UD of scores like 115-113 just because i dont think thompson is as good as he was in the wladimir fight over a year ago..he is pushing 40

I agree, Tony Thompson is underrated.

This is good news. I like to see these kind of up-and-comer vs. established veteran matches, because it helps to establish the younger boxers in the division.

I just saw some bad news this morning though, that Denis Boytsov will be fighting durable journeyman Jason Gavern. Ranked contenders should be fighting other contenders, there's no point in Boytsov fighting Gavern at this stage. Probably, Universum's Kohl doesn't want to spend the money to set up a better matchup for Denis.

I haven't heard anything on Boytsov's opponent yet and ESPN, who are usually pretty accurate, hasn't listed anyone yet. Hopefully, Team Boytsov will find someone better...
