  • Comments Thread For: Arum On Fury-Chisora: Usyk Handled Joshua Two Times Far, Far Easier Than He Did Chisora

Bob Arum referenced recent and decades-old history to remind dismissive media and fans Thursday that Tyson Fury's third fight with Dereck Chisora isn't some unnecessary mismatch Chisora doesn't deserve based on Fury's first two decisive victories over him.

Haha, wiley cat Arum stirring the pot again. I bet he’d love to have the money spinner AJ on his roster of fighters.

That’s fine Bob, but Fury also handled Chisora easily twice already, hence the complete lack of interest in this fight.

It's true Chisoria took Usyk to the wire but it's also true Fury hammered Chisoria twice , Otto would have been a better choice but I'll live with this warm up just as long as Usyk sticks to his word and the plan and fights Fury and stops with the moving down in weight or fighting Wilder excuses.

A for effort going in to desperately trying to sell a fight no one asked for, good luck to them.

There is no valid justification for Guey fighting chisora again but Arum isn’t lying in this assessment. Usyk struggled much more with chisora than he did with Joshua. Usyks fight with chisora was a main reason why Aj was heavily favored going into the first match. Aj was overrated as a heavyweight and because of Usyk’s troubles with Chisora, he was dismissed as a low threat opponent.

Wilder just fought no-hope Helenius on PPV, and Fury is fighting the guy that lost to no-hope Helenius...for the 3rd time...on PPV.
