Shobox is part of Showtime. Ennis has only been calling out PBC fighters and he's approaching one fight a year status. Which looks to me like he's not looking for anything other than within this Shobox/Showtime/PBC sphere. I mean if you are describing someone who can fight anywhere, why not press for other fights outside to stay busy?

Khan's resume sh-ts on David Benavidez'.

Not really, because it is two divisions lower than Canelo's. Might be a good resume for a welter ... but none of those guys would have much value fighting at 154 (at the time of the Canelo fight). Names only matter in the appropriate divisions. Canelo's name means nothing at Cruiser or HW. Nearly every guy in the top 20 would consider that a walk in the park. Same for Khan's resume once he moved up.

That said, Benaidez and "everyone else" should be fighting each other. Everyone waiting on the prom queen is definitely a bad look and lazy as a fighter. Can't blame anyone for wanting a chance at boxing's cash cow, but first and foremost they should always be trying to stay busy and fighting better opposition.

Canelo has one more fight under DAZN then PBC will pitch the same 2 fight deal of Benavidez and Charlo that they did before. So it's basically fighting nobody's until the Canelo pay day arrives. They don't deserve the pay day and hopefully Canelo goes a different route and this strategy backfires.

Better yet, Canelo goes "I'm good with this boxing thing" and proceeds to retire.
