What an amazing fight. As bad as Valuev vs. Nobles was as good was this one. Dennis Bakhtov was a very game opponent with an iron chin. Sam connected throughout the fight with vicious uppercuts, right crosses and devastating left right cmoninations. The fight was very intense. Both guys threw anything they had in an incredible tempo. Forget about Valuev or Samuel Peter, Sinan Samil Sam is the hottest prospect right now. He had an off night against Luan Krasniqi but knocked out Danny Williams (yes, the same guy that gets all the hype right now) last year.
The only thing that lets him down a bit is his lack of defensive skills. He walks forward all the time with his great offensive arsenal. He has a good punch and an above average chin. With the worthless WBC Int. Title around his waists now, he should get another chance at the big time. I'd pick him over Ruiz or Rahman anyday.
Dennis Bakhtov had a good outing as well. He looked very well prepaired and in an amazing shape. I'm still shocked about how this guy managed to stay on his feets after tasting some vicious right uppercuts to his chin. He kept his hands a bit too low though and it hurt him. If he works on his defense and starts picking his shots a little better I'm sure we'll hear a lot of him in the future.
The end came 48 secs in the 10th when Sinan Samil San connected with two right uppercuts followed by a left and a right cross and finished it with one of the meanest uppercuts I've ever seen (and that includes Bowe - Byrd). Bakhtov was out before he hit the canvas and the ref didnt even start to count. Great KO.
Overall this fight was great and I higly recommand anyone to get it on tape. It's definitly worth it.
