If you look real close you can see the following. Helenius was coming full in forward chin exposed. At the moment of impact watch the man’s neck snap back from just that short shot. Because Wilder has amazing power and the fact Helenius was coming full in the result was a neck snapping KO. As he falls his eyes are already rolled back and he falls completely back without breaking his fall and head to canvas.

the man was legit knocked unconscious.

It was too obvious but not surprised at all.

Beg to differ. Need a slow mo of that little punch again. How could that little punch have caused so much damage unless he had a horseshoe in his glove and I don't think he did.

Wilder always did have backers with "deep pockets" as Luis Ortiz put it after that extremely strange eighth round in their first fight.

You can’t argue with these jokers. They cannot deal with their 2 heroes Joshua and Whyte collapsing like the British Pound in the span of months. Combine that with no puss and whacking off to deepfakes of Liz Truss,.,,well you’d be salty too

Agree. Helenius looked like a damn fool throwing himself out there like that being so predictable poor guy never saw it coming. One cant just do sht like that against someone w/high ko ratio. Definitely not a dive.

It was an arm punch going backwards without much extension...looked pretty suspect to me, albeit Helenius's head took a bounce on the canvas. That's not the type of punch to crumble a big man who has all his energy still. I dunno...leaves me with a bad taste.

I'd like to see a clear slowmo of that punch again and also the way H fell.

When you run into a punch you do all the work getting yourself hurt , it creates twice the power no need to wind the punch up . Posters on this forum should know this by now . It’s legit knockout if that punch landed clean from the grainy video I watched the same right hand for 3 minutes frame by frame ?

Watch closely again. That punch while it didn’t look to be what we’d consider “much” was thrown while the man was coming full in…all 254 pounds. Then look real closely and you’ll see his neck snap hard. His eyes go back into his head that then hits the canvas.

                    He was full out unconscious

I was dead wrong and Im happy for Wilder. Punch looked suspect after some replays but you can’t fake that fall. Hellenius dropped like a sack of potatoes. Great win for Wilder and I’m happy for
Him and boxing. Wilder is great for the sport.

would love to see him fight Joyce, Joshua or USYK.
