David Benavidez is unproven but I wouldn't go as far as to say that he is the equivalent of JCC Jr. of all people.

The guy has outstanding hand speed and can crack with a 90% KO ratio with wins against the likes of Anthony Dirrell, Alexis Angulo and David Lemieux.

His brother was shot in the knee and still went all twelve rounds against Crawford though, but other than that I don't see what's wrong with thinking that Benavidez is overhyped and unproven, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
