De La Hoya's Corner Instruction against Trinidad

It seems to be "common knowledge" that his corner told him to play it safe and to stay away in the late rounds, but it appears here that they simply told him to box. Maybe instructions were different when the HBO cameras were on Tito's corner (can't imagine why though), but from what is seen here, Clancy told him "box, box, box" and Alcazar even says "make sure you win the round".

If peoples really open their eyes they can see that Oscar got soldout to betting ring. Nothing could save Oscar from this fight except if he knock Tito out. Even if he fought the last 3 rounds the judges was going to give it Tito anyway. Boxing are score by points so it's just common sense that if you win 7-9 of the first 9 rounds you have the fight in the bag.
