Comments Thread For: Hearn: I Don't Think Conor Benn Was Allowed Due Process in This Instance

Eddie Hearn believes precedent will prevail in the case of his embattled charge, Conor Benn. The head of Matchroom Boxing has been busy trying to put out the conflagration caused by the revelation, from last week, that Benn had tested positive for a banned performance enhancing drug--clomifene, a fertility drug that enhances testosterone levels when used by men--just four days out from his highly anticipated 157-pound catchweight fight with Chris Eubank Jr.

He's failed two separate tests for the same substance.

Hearn is really on the ropes at the moment, i wouldn't even be surprised if he got out of boxing.

They canceled the fight only after people started to get angry at them for having the fight after failed test.
Now Hearn is saying that they didn't have to cancel it but it was their decision to do it but it was only because peoples reactions, not because Hearn cared about fighters safety. Without the leak the fight would have happened whatever Hearn says now

The BBBoC knew about the result well in advance when VADA notified all the involved parties.

Had the story not leaked they would have sat on it and let the fight continue and taken their big fat cheque.

They're equally reprehensible and immoral as all the cheating parties.

If he could he would do so , he’s got to fulfill his DAZN contract 1st that he ******ly either ditched of got canned by sky for . I’m pretty sure he hates the business and himself more each day he wakes up but he’s made his bed so has to deal with it .

“We’ve been here before with Dillian Whyte. Everybody wrote him off. Everybody said his career was over, he was this, he was that. And it turned out he was completely innocent.”

'We respected the boards decision' .....Hearn and Kalle are looking at suing them that's how much they respect the boards decision. Hearn is digging himself an even bigger hole here . He simply can't keep it shut. He paid for VADA to test and they tested he doesn't like the result and now you get this .......
So really Hearn is saying , we want to show that we're doing the right thing but we are not really , not if it's costing me money!!
