    Artur Beterbiev is getting better.

If anything this guy is adding more dimensions to his game.

When he said "I want to be a good boxer" I always dimissed it as him having a joke trying to get some accolades and hunting for compliments but I genuinely think he wants to be a complete all arounder and go for ATG status.

He knows he is getting older so now he is working more on technique and refining what he already has. His legs aren't as fast as they used to be so instead of chasing his opponents or stalking them he'll actually fight backwards and still generate power in his shots (see Joe Smith fight) and only move forward when totally neccesary.

If he ever fights Bivol we'll see another level on display. It'll be a fast version of the Gvozdyk fight because Bivol is a lot more mobile. He'll trap and counter Bivol in way Canelo repeatedly failed to do.

Anyway, check out this left hook to the body he is woking on. It's sounds like a ******* going off. Absolutely brutal HW-type of power and as such short range.

    Anthony Yarde
    Callum Smith
    Dimitry Bivol

Good luck to you all against this monster

The last one was preventative surgery.

He had a good run - 3 fights - without any injury.

As long as he keeps on top of his training he should still be on good form for a few more years.

His style is not based on reflexes or speed. It's intelligent pressure and counter power punching so as long as he trains and maintains those assets he will remain as good as he is.

I mean ggg style wasn't based on speed or reflexes either. Age caught him. But everybody's different.

Agree with that. GGG had a busy schedule too up until the pandemic hit to be honest it looked like he mentally checked out a while ago.
