Hrgovic should be ordered to fight Usyk next if Fury plays his usual games . The entire boxing sanctioned bodies should just order Usyks mandatory fights now ,it’s not like Fury is in a rush to fight Joyce or Hrgovic ,he didn’t even know who Mahkmudov was so he’s clearly in it fir money that’s it . Chisora is on the top of his list because Fury himself isn’t a big draw , yea the great Fury ?

A few guys on here keep hyping Hrgovic up and trying to force him as the next big thing but I don't see it. Joe Joyce is a more fearsome contender in my opinion.

Will Fury fight Hrgovic? I don't see what's in it for him to do so.
And that is why you look like an idiot most the time on here you don’t really watch the fights you go by what other idiots say on social media so it all makes sense once again .

Hrgovic clearly won the fight after a long lay off as well as a new trainer but he was exposed ? He took over in late rounds ,he even had a knockdown himself that wasn’t counted which you probably didn’t see either .

He did this vs an undefeated ring magazine ranked top ten fighter. While I agree his performance wasn't his typical beat down he had some distractions ( father passing recently ) and the ring was lousy which could have lead to the slip on the behind the head / push down variety. Yeah it happened but he got right up in round one, and over came a clash of heads in round three, and pretty much won the rest of the rounds.

I posted my card here. You can post yours if you care to.

Back to Fury, every word I wrote is true. Will he risk a fight with Hrgovic? I tend to doubt it. What do you say?
It was very competitive but you can’t give Zhang the fight he landed the single harder punches but Hrgovic had ring generalship and outworked him , Zhang had the better power punches but not by much he was outpointed by a good 4 rounds at least .

Hrgovic and Joyce would be a good match. I think it would be Hrgovic via UD. Joyce remains slow and was out boxed by Dubois before he quit late in the fight.
Of course I watched the fight.

Here is the BoxingScene discussion thread from that night if you want to scroll through the comments. The Hrgovic-Zhang fight starts being discussed around post # 290. Needless to say Hrgovic failed to live up to the hype.

So If Hgrovic gets and early KO, Zhang is a bum, but if he wins a tough fight over a ring magazine ranked contender he gets blasted by internet fans? I think he passed several tests, as the fight tested his chin and endurance to go 12 rounds vs a big tough southpaw contender. He was out of focus do his dad's death and the wet apron on the ring + a questionable knockdown where Zhang lands a foul punch behind the head and follows it up with a push down. If boxing reviewed the knock downs is not allowed. But they don't. It was the first time Hrgovic was down as an amateur or pro. That made the score cards much closer. Yet when Zhang goes down its ruled a slip and not a knockdown by the ref? Who do you think won the fight?

Zhang had probably seen the fight of Hrgovic vs. Molina and was just giving Hrgovic a taste of his own medicine.

I get that you are a fan of his.

But the guy was being hyped up by some posters as the second coming of King Kong. He isn't, otherwise he wouldn't have been in a position where many felt he lost that fight.

                That's all I'm saying.

That's fine as long the comments are intelligent and know what your talking about. Not comments lead by social media foolish comments. Who were they, and quote them to judge. I think Hrgoivc is good enough to be a world champion, and that 100% realistic. Not that's he is hyped like a young Mike Tyson. Or the next Ali . Somethings you can't say until they are done. But a year form now he might be the best in the division. He had the requiem for a heavyweight. Big, strong, long, tall, faster than average feet, and hands, and good stamina and a great chin. He is not a defensive wizard nor does he has a " shut down jab ", but he has a lot going for him. No one man has it all.

Makhmudov / Hrvogic is the one I want to see ... We won't hear about Hrvogic as a "pretender" after he's put to sleep by the "Lion" ....

The comments were from boxing fans on this very website who were watching the fight live. As I said, to me Joe Joyce has looked much more impressive than Hrgovic if we are talking top contenders at heavyweight.

In regards to up and comers from Eastern Europe there are superior fighters to Hrgovic in my opinion. Makhmudov is one of them.
