Hey genius, the poll asks do you think he can beat Mayweather? Picture the first 4 rounds of Floyd/Judah and multiply by 3. Of course it's possible and if you can't see that perhaps you should back away from the nuts.

You aren't objective about this at all considering you think so highly of Mayweather you state in another thread that Marquez would be competitive and possibly beat Mosley, Cotto, and Clottey, and only looked so bad because Mayweather is that good.

On topic, I see no way Manny can possibly beat Mayweather. He would be made to miss too often and Floyd would counter him effectively. Manny had no real answer to JMM when he countered effectively, I would hate to see what would happen to Manny if he continually missed Floyd with those straight lefts.

I think Pac will probably end up steering clear of this fight to be honest, it is all wrong for him.
I guess we can agree to disagree Dan. Obviously Floyd would be favored. But Floyd relies too much on reflexes and can be hit if you have enough speed, as Judah showed early, and can be bothered by a good jab, as Oscar showed early. JMM's speed has diminished severely since he left 130, whereas Pac's has not, and Pac was much faster to begin with. Yes Marquez has better defense and yes, Floyd will be catching Pac with counters. I just don't think Floyd can stop Pac and will waste much more energy on defense than he did with Marquez, who's punches he could see from a mile away. Also Pac's arms are longer than JMM's, who was screwed every time he tried to get into range.

Like I said, I'd pick Floyd, but Pac definitely has a chance in my mind. The only person at WW that I would pick over Floyd would be Williams, and that'll never happen. Mosley is just too old and can't be judged off of one performance over an exposed cheater. Cotto would be interesting, but Floyd would ultimately prevail. So we'll probably see Floyd unbeaten till he retires again.

I gotta see what he does against Cotto. If he can get past Cotto's power and size advantage.... That is huge, but until he does so, I'm not going to comment on Mayweather...to early for that.

This happens everytime after an impressive performance; people get caught up in what just happened and go off the deep end. All of a sudden people are questioning whether its even possible at all for Pacquiao to win....take this poll a week from now and watch the results change...even though facts will remain the same.

I only give Pac a 55% chance of winning though.

He can beat mayweather. Mayweather only proved that his skills are still there against a slower JMM. I would give this edge to pbf but don't sleep on pac. He is an unconventional southpaw, odd-angles volume puncher, with speed. IMO, I'd give pac more chance than cotto or mosley assuming his punches could gain the respect of pbf. Mosley looked fast on margarito. he has power and hand speed but I saw no lateral movement that could make pbf think twice in employing that shoulder roll. Cotto is a sleeper though. Can he pressure pbf for the entire 12 rounds? My guess now is no but if they do meet I hope his stamina is already improved so he can take it to pbf.

I hope pac-pbf will happen. Both are unconventional fighters. One defensive, one offensive. Who's style will prevail? Though size would be to PBF advantage, I still give pac a chance. Please note that I'm not saying that Pac will win because as of now, I'm still giving the edge to mayweather. Will know more after pac-cotto. Also hoping that pbf will give cotto and mosley the chance to take that 0 away from. He should know that this are great fights to be made.
