This is something that I am pretty passionate about. People get way too wrapped up when a fighter calls another fighter out. What people seem to fail to realize is that just because somebody utters another fighter's name and the other fighter doesn't respond, THAT'S NOT DUCKING/DODGING.
Prime example....
I could go on ESPN tomorrow and say "I want to fight Mike Tyson!" Mike Tyson doesn't respond, so what does that mean? Mike is ducking me? He's scared? HELL NO! Boxing is a business and a verbal challenge does not mean anything to elite boxers. The only way I think somebody is ducking an opponent is if there is a reasonable legitimate contract drawn up with specific amounts of money being negotiated. Just something to think about.
