Is it true that the JMM/FMJ only generated 450 PPV buys?

Pacquiao-Cotto is probably going to do outstanding PPV buys. maybe Im wrong, but I think Pacquiao became a major image after the Hatton KO. A LOT of people noticed it, like people on sports stations would just bring it up randomly like theyd throw a punch and say 'Oh man, Pacquiao!'...that sort of thing.

even ESPN noticed, and nominated it for 'best play of the year'. plus Pacquiao has that deal with Nike, right?

not to mention that Pacquiao and Cotto both have some really dedicated fans. the crowd is probably gonna be wild for that fight

I'll bet all my points that The Pacquiao/Cotto bout will do a lot better than Mayweather/JMM fight.

If its true 450k its very ****ing good for a fight which everyone thought and was essentially a miss match vs someone like Marquez who hasn't had much exposure. Given the current market too..

Floyd vs Mosley/Cotto would outdo that fight too, its down to the opponent i mean if Marquez/Floyd gets anywhere near Cott/PAC. Well it just proves Floyd is very good draw given him and Marquez was hyped as a mismatch and between 2 counter punchers..

That's what I'm sayin' dude, 450K buys is not bad at all given all the constraints of the economy, mismatch and so forth and so on...

Takes longer really to tally the number. Two months ago 450k would have been good, anything over that is icing on the cake.

I think it did pretty good, I would not be suprised if it did close to Floyd-Hatton. To me that was always about the top end of expectations, I always thought it would do pretty well but a million would surpass my expectations.

I hope all boxing events do well, except every so often I like to see Arum lose some cash on a boxing event.

I don't know about the PPV, however I do know that AMC Bay Street Theater was packed and I got the last ticket available. Also, All of my closest friends watched at various venues- ppv. I have a strong feeling that them theater tickets sale out in most spots.

Dude, Pacquiao/Mayweather will do a lot better than the above fights you mentioned.
