Spence and Crawford are the biggest cowards in boxing history

I mean, when old Pac was still around, I kinda understood the situation. It was a little morbid, but still. They both wanted to fight him for a payday. Hell, Pac was actually scheduled to fight Spence. Well, we know what happened..

But Pac is gone now. And these two sissies still can`t find a pencil to sign a contract for fighting each other.

They don`t even fight these new young contenders like Ortiz jr., Boots.

F.uck them both. Crawford and Spence are the biggest ******* of the history of 147 division.

Must I remind you that Pac fought unbeaten guy Thurman when he was 40 years old?

PBC doesn’t have the money to pay these guys and PBC are scared to actually take a risk on making this PPV.

Haymon knows that this fight can’t sell more than 1 million buys but the fighters want 8 figure pay days. You better believe the undercard will be the worst as well. Boxing is a bad place when the best can’t even fight the best for the simple fact all those greedy hands want earn a killing for a fight that isn’t one.

I think fighters like Bud and Spence Jr have the same mentality as the fighters of old. The only difference now is the business has changed. And the people that run the business are having to share more of their pie with the fighters. As a result, the fights we want don’t get made when we want them. And the fighters we like don’t fight as often.

I take that back. This actually has been going on for a very long time. The Four Kings documentary made that clear.

Ray Leonard fought Duran in 1980 for the first time.
Ray Leonard fought Hearns in 1981 for the first time.

        Duran fought Hagler in 1983.
        Duran fought Hearns in 1984.
        Hagler X Hearns was 1985.

Ray and Hagler didn’t fight until 1987.
The fight everyone wanted to see….happened a little late as well.

This is in boxing’s DNA unfortunately.

I'll never call a professional fighter a coward, but this situation really is some BS

Hey Fight Fans (many of you F^CKS who don't buy Tickets or pay for PPV's so we alone can pay for this fight) somebody have to actually PAY to make these fights happen and those Millions have to be Upfront. For Example someone has to actually come up with and Write and Check for like $40 Million Dollars Guaranteed to Pay Canelo that is a lot of damn money. I don't think Boxing Fans Understand the Process that goes into Making A Fight, we're so spoiled as fans that we think that promoters can just pull money out of their Assses and put on a Big Fight every Weekend and want fighters to fight 3-4 times a year when in actuality NO PROMOTER has the Budget to do that especially when they have Multiple Fighters to Promote

Let them continue to negotiate and work something out. I think BOTH want this fight, it is not about them, the issue is the people putting up the money, they have the Analytics, they see the numbers, I doubt this Fight is Tracking well to be this "MEGA FIGHT" that we Fight fans Claim for it to be. NOBODY want to lose money like ARUM Claimed he lost a lot of money on Bud Crawford. So to jump out and offer each fighter $10-$15 Million Guaranteed and the PPV Flops and doesn't do even 500K Buys (which is very likely because I don't know a Casual that is excited about this fight) would be a major Lose for somebody

NEITHER fighter is a "Superstar" I guess Spence is a Decent Drawing BOXING STAR/Attraction but not a SUPERSTAR and yes it is a Major difference. While Bud is just a Great Boxer but not a STAR like that. Lets say both walked into a Room with my Family and Friends and I would probably be the only one to know who TF they are and would have to explain to family members and friends who they are and what they do and they STILL wouldn't know them

Lets say I'm in Stephen Espinoza Position, for me Tank Davis vs Ryan Garcia is the better investment and the FAR BIGGER FIGHT! Both fighters have a huge Social Media Following, Tank draws big Crowed regardless if it is in Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York or anywhere in his backyard in Maryland. The All Access/Pre Fight Content would be a huge Ratings Draw because they don't like each other. With Spence and Bud...BLAH, both have very Dry Personalities I'm not excited for a All Access covering them leading up to the fight

You don't become ELITE in boxing being a "Coward" though so that is most certainly not the right word to use for either of these WORLD CLASS fighters who are both in the Top 5 of majority P4P Rankings

I agree with you mostly. Boxing right now doesn’t have a megastar…not even Canelo. If you take the Mexican fan base from Canelo he’s not the fighter getting that $40mil paycheck per fight.

A megastar is a true crossover athlete who has fanbases that span across the spectrum. A megastar is getting the ladies of different ethnicities talking about going to a fight party again, the casuals talking about them weeks leading up a fight, the gossip columns making up stories, etc etc.

You're right, none of these guys are that. But the winner of this fight will now be that guy for American Boxing.

And that’s what’s on the line for the business men who are charged with the task of putting on the fight. Handling this well on the business side, the roll out and production, and the overall execution is vital. All eyes will be back on boxing if this fight happens and it’s a ****er.

If this fight doesn't happen soon, it will be a real shame. This is the welter fight of this era. Without it, it makes the era very weak.
