This is true, but if Ring is going to claim to operate under the logic that he retired #1 he comes back #1, then he should comeback ahead of Mosley as well. However, I have to admit I would disagree with Ring if they did that as well. These rankings generally work under a "What have you done for me lately" attitude, and IMO he hasn't done anything lately quite yet.

No way should Floyd be higher than Cotto at WW.

What about after Pac beats Cotto's ass. Would you rank Floyd higher then, considering Cotto got his ass whipped by a lightweight, or would you put Pac in at number 2 with only one "legitimate" welterweight victory.

Z-Money = curiously absent from the list.. More evidence these rankings don't adhere to a consistent set of criteria.

Politics=boxing, nothing makes sense that's why sooo much ppl is jumping to the MMA, there to be the man you have to beat the man. Here on boxing seel more tickets/ppv, fight nobody and you da man. Don't get me wrong I lov PBF as a boxer, he's a P.O.**** as a person, but a great boxer.

floyd cannot be ranked above Cotto,just because he beat the lightweight champ.Cotto has been putting in work for years & deserves some ****in respect!!Cotto has beaten Mosley,Clottey I don't think he won,but he did fight 9 rounds with 1 eye,Quntana & everyone else that matters at the weight except Margarito who may have cheated & floyd cause he don't fight welterweights!!Outside of Mosley,Cotto has the best welterweight record this decade,if Mosley didn't have that win over prime Dlh back in 2001,or whatever Cotto would have the best resume!!Putting floyd in on beating a lightweight is a complete disrespect to boxing!!I should really jump ship & start watching mma,but can't do that cause I am a fan of the Punisher,unofficial 3 division king!!
