First assumption is that mayweather beats marquez, therefore mayweather will beat pacquiao.
Mayweather does have skills I give him that. He might be playing around with Marquez. We might never know but we could only judge the his performance last night and that was his superb defensive boxing skills. But fighting marquez at 144 he would have been weight drained or isn’t as strong by the look on the pics on Monday, he looked pale as hell probably trying to make weight.
Ok now to put it this way pac vs jmm was fighting at 135 <-- that’s whole different weight division, different styles, age and conditions. If you think Marquez has the same speed at 142 compared at 135 then you’re blind as hell.
Second Assumption is that DLH lost and quit to pac at 7-8 while mayweather took it to the distance. Hatton lost in 2 rounds compared to mayweather 10 rounds, therefore pacquiao will beat mayweather.
One thing is for sure kudos to DLH for making weight, real professional even though people could argue he was weight drained. How about Hatton? You can’t say he’s weight drain, but he might be shot. We might never know. But one thing is for sure pacquiao look impressive both fights, and have improved his skills , and maintained his weight at 140 and adding more power than he use to.
So the right assumption would be anything could happen. Mayweather might outclass and humiliate Pac with his defensive skills and Pacquiao on the other hand will might knock out Mayweather with his left power shots, (Look at the shot by mayweather that put marquez on the floor, there is a wide opening in his right side as he lounges forward, and that’s a great opening for pacquiao’s left power shot like the ones he did on Hatton.
Facts from last night Mayweather is a true welterweight. Facts from the hatton vs pac fight, is that pac could be a jr welterweight but he is a smaller jr welterweight. At 140 pacquiao would dominate and at 147 mayweather will dominate. But who knows I could be wrong.
