Eddie is so full of ****, he couldn't hide that if his life depended on it. It's an 80M quid fight that means 32 for AJ. He will never get that type of money again.

Fury's mouthing off only gave Eddie something to hold on to here. Pushing that aside, it was clear as day that Eddie was never going to allow this fight to happen. It just doesn't make sense to sacrifice his golden goose so Fury can keep rising. One more loss and AJ's career may as well be over and the money train for Matchroom is effectively derailed. Business-wise it just doesn't make sense especially with his new DAZN deal and I get it. It is still a bigger fight as long as AJ doesn't keep piling up losses and moreso a big summer fight too than a hurriedly put together contest. Fast Eddie was just putting on that facade all along to make it seem like he wanted it. They never wanted it similar to the Wilder negotiations back in the day.

I guess they don't have to fight this year.
Who else is a bigger box office fight for Fury besides Usyk? Joyce is a very good fight, but who else? He already beat up Wilder a lot.
Andy Ruiz is not an attractive fight, nor is the Cuban Sanchez that much of an appealing fight. Flip Hrgovic and Zhang are decent but similar level, not a threat to Fury. Joshua would still be a big fight in demand.

Fury’s flip-flopping had me questioning the legitimacy of this offer but it seems that all the major things have been agreed and Hearn’s been stalling for the last week or so.

Hearn is no prize, but he's right. This whole fight should've never been entertained to begin with.
Fury's a coward for calling out Joshua at his lowest and with a firm stance on hardly giving the guy time to recover and train properly.
Hearn did his best to help Joshua save face for openly agreeing to the fight.
A fight of this magnitude sails way past the radar of a rush job, the gypsy idiot.

Yeah we know AJ isn’t landing that fight. Hearn puts a lot into his posturing!! It’s so obvious he’s protecting his golden goose. He even swerved an undisputed bout n now he’s costing his guy’s shot at the throne . AJ was never #1 without facing the #1 I remember all these fan girls had AJ #1 when he beat dillian whyte. He never had to beat the guy this why they hated on wilder so hard. Hmm all because this swerved him than came the campaign to drag him through the mudLast edited by Slip jab; 10-03-2022, 12:51 PM.

We now know everything. Hearn absolutely used a ********** pay for play UK sports press to spin that wilder ducked Joshua. He had press cry and whine like old women when PED punching bag whyte couldn’t get a title fight - even tho Hearn promoted one of the champions!!!! Oh and the same fake journalists had nothing to say about Whyte dirty pee vs Rivas. And now his meal ticket has been exposed as a malfunctioning robot in dramatic athletic and mental decline. And one loss away from the fertilizer factory. And absolutely terrified of the heavyweight champion. Exposed as the #4 HW of his era, this generation’s John Ruiz
Sorry, but the real “villain” isn’t Hearn - or Joshua.Last edited by Roj; 10-03-2022, 11:50 AM.
